NBC and/or TiVo conspiracy to prevent recording of tonight's (1 Dec 2011) Community episode?

When I attempted to watch tonight's episode on TiVo, immediately after it aired, I found that it had not been recorded! The horror!

Both this week's and next week's episodes were not listed as re-runs (i.e. no "R" in the program description). But neither this week's or next week's episode had program numbers, and, when I checked, next week's new episode was not set to record.

Now I'll be forced to venture to the NBC website to watch online, and be subjected to the insipid advertisements for products that I neither want nor need.
