I've heard a lot of theories that mysterious powerfully rich evil people are out to reduce the world population via wars, droughts, famine... or something along the lines of that.

I realize that yes we now have 7 billion people living on earth and will only grow maybe there ought to be a bit of population control. But why let thousands a day die and suffer, can't population be controlled through rethinking morals and education of family planning? So why is gay marriage still illegal and the gay lifestyle still frowned upon? Couldn't the support of both heterosexual lifestyles and Homosexual be a benefit to all? If more people came out about being gay that would mean more families who are unable to reproduce and wouldn't the rate of adoptions go up for children and babies of humans who already exist?

In other words its sort of a way of population control, granted a lot of good genes would be wasted (i've met a lot of cool and intelligent people who happen to prefer people of the same sex!) but of course there is always sperm donors and women willing to carry other peoples babies.

Pro: -Gay people get to marry and have families with who they love!

-Rate of adoption increase?

-slight population control?

Con: -Good genes go to waste

-hardcore religious upset

PS: I'm not evil i don't want to drastically shrink the world population, i just want the earth to remain sustainable for many many future generations to come so that we might grow as a species! Thank you for your time toke on my frients!
