Hey reddit, just got a homecoming theme rejected, despite winning a fair election. What's the weirdest dance theme you've ever seen (or can imagine)?

So story: National Honor Society at our high school is in charge of running Winter Homecoming. They ran a poll on the facebook group to decide what the theme should me; a few friends and I, trolling, managed to get "Unfunded Mandate: Taxation" to win. However, it got rejected, and we will probably have another boring generically themed school dance. Anyhow, this got me thinking - there must be some weirder themes than ours out there. We spent all class today giggling over the silliest themes we could come up with. I think "Civil War" or "Historical Genocides" were the favorites. I'm sure reddit has some great ideas on this...
