Am I the only one this bothers?

Maybe I haven't heard enough of the history of Skyrim but Falkreath seems like a sad excuse for a holds main city. It looks to be only slightly bigger than Riverwood and the population is severely lacking. I just think with all the time put into the other cities Falkreath might be a little more elaborate. Or at least bigger.
