Aging/antiquing magic cards

Personally, I really like the look/feel of cards that have been played a bit, so I tend to (much to the dismay of my friends) treat my cards like crap. Rares and other cards are obviously exempt, but I'm not above shoving a beater pack in the dryer with the heat off and letting them roll around for a cycle. It gives em those nice frayed edges and spidery creases I like, and which I think adds a bit of character an authenticity to a game.

Does anybody else do this and, if so, please feel free to share techniques you use! I'm fearing (probably rightfully so) this will be downvoted to hell, but hey, can't hurt, right? :)
