Has anyone ever saved your life?

Thanks to a hobo in downtown St. Louis, I'm still alive today. So I was about 17 years old and I just went to my first NFL game. As the thousands of people were flowing out the stadium, I began walking back to my car. Walking shoulder to shoulder with my head down trying to fight the cold, I stepped into an intersection. Everyone in front of me kept walking but everyone behind me stopped. (for obvious reasons) Out of know where I hear the voice of a god "LOOK OUT!" I took one step backwards back onto the curb right as a Greyhound bus went flying by. Holy shit. Like literally.. holy shit I looked over and saw a bum sitting with his legs crossed smoking a cigarette giving me a thumbs up. I returned the gesture and continued on my way. I wish i would have given him something; what the hell was I thinking? I feel so bad that I didn't. I literally owe him everything. I was so young though. It still gives me chills
