I think there was an audiophile thread a while ago but I can't find it. Help me decide on some new cans.

I can't find it for some reason and I don't remember what everyone decided was best. :/

So I'm not knowledgeable on headphones or the workings of perfecting audio but I believe the general consensus is that these are the best bang for your buck. I'm not looking to spend more than 150 on portable heaphones so these are right in my price range.

I've also heard that it would be best to get a headphone amp in order to supply a proper amount of power to the headphones, upping the quality and volume. This seems like a good deal. But, would I even need it with my source? (gen4 ipod touch) I actually don't have it now but am planning on getting one in the near future. I don't even have a dedicated mp3 player right now, heh.

So does anyone have any advice? Seem like a good purchase for 114 (I believe It just went down in price to the point where I can think about getting 'em)
