Fast travel not working, please help!

All of a sudden fast travel has stopped working. I am no longer able to mark destination points or fast travel to a location, every time I click on a location it closes the map screen. It also doesn't jump to a quest location when I click on a quest in the logs. I don't have any mods installed, and the game was working fine a few days ago. What could be causing this?
