Last 2 days: 1809 words.

Lots more productive brainstorming. I've completely fleshed out the back story and the setting. I've figured out what the society looks like and how it got there. I've figured out some of my characters' basic motivations, and I even have one scene roughly written, based on a dream I had last night.

I feel like I'm almost ready to dive right in to the story. Right now, I'm trying to decide whether I want to either flesh out the characters in further detail, begin thinking about structure and outlining, or just diving in and seeing where it takes me.

But that decision is for tomorrow.
