Zombology? So much information, how much would humanity truely last?

In the Walking Dead nobody knows anything about the zombies at the start as in there are no zombie movies,books,games, Comics, or popular TV show based on the popular comic. Kirkman stated this was a Romero free world. But i ask you r/Thewalkingdead How would the world survive against a zombie invasion with all the media? Knowing about all the ways zombies can act and the weapons we can use to kill them how fast would it spread and would it be a much easier task to take care of? This also includes the military.

Tl;dr In the walking dead nobody knew about zombies. Everyone knows about zombies, how would the world react to zombies?
