Student Minister tries to prove existence of a soul with (il)logical argument.

The Student Minister of the church I frequent posed this as proof for the existence of a soul:

1. If you look at a dead body, it is clearly different than a living person.
2. The living must have something the dead do not.
3. Thus the dead are obviously missing the "soul" that the living person has.

I don't understand how somebody who went to college for four years to be a minister can use such an inane argument to jump to such a ridiculous conclusion. Apparently if you don't have evidence for something you believe in, you can just make stuff up.
