Specific reasons for suicide?

Hey. Got an assignment. I'm looking for specific reasons why people turn to suicide. Not broad generalizations of "pit of darkness with no way out" but more like case studies. So far I've pulled up very little.

Specifically, I'm looking for stuff like "Tom recently lost his job, and couldn't afford his diabetes medical care anymore" or "Jane got pregnant and knew her family would shame her."
