Online Gaming Meetups - For those who are interested in trying to set up Reddit community nights for specific games, or those who are looking to meet others in specific titles.
I'm seriously hoping that there isn't already a subreddit for this, as I tried to run a search under various wordings, but I ended up opening a subreddit for anyone interested in trying to set up a night to play online games with other redditors.
My initial thought was to put this to use in getting some people back and playing online games that they probably haven't touched in ages in the hopes that a community feel would renew their interest, but I figured that it could be used for any group purpose as well.
My hope is that, similar to the regular meetup subreddit, people can post specific games that they wish to play and perhaps a night. Anyone else can add suggestions or try and establish their own night, and things such as MMO gamers can try and find fellow redditors in their games / servers.
Any help or suggestions are always appreciated, and I am hoping that this can actually be of some use to get people interested in playing together.
