DAE not care about VOIP?

Personally, I don't mind not having VOIP or chat. I don't see the need to talk to anyone. I don't feel anything needs to be said. If you see an enemy, spot them, suppress them, kill them. Do your job.

If a tank needs repairs and you are the gunner, jump out and repair. If you are the driver of the tank, be aware that someone jumped out or your vehicle or your health is going up or there are sparks flying everywhere before driving off without them. If you see something that needs to be done, do it. I don't see how VOIP is going to make a team any better if they don't already know what to do.

Comment if you can think of anything that absolutely needs VOIP to coordinate. You know you need flags or need to blow up an M-COM or kill enemies. Not everyone is spawned in at the same time or can get to the same area at once. I just don't see any grand schemes of coordinated attacks coming about because you can vocalize amongst yourselves. Listening to a bunch of non-militarized suburbanites only detracts from the game's emotion.

Maybe it will be totally awesome. But maybe it will just be unrelenting frustration because someone stole someone's tank because they were repairing their Reactive Armor even though they looked stupid while strafing and healing a 100% tank and were deemed unworthy of driving. Or maybe someone revived someone in a hopeless situation or stood in the doorway while someone was under fire and trying to take cover or maybe someone fired their weapon and gave away your position or kept causing you to TK yourself and them because they just unlocked TV Missle. Maybe someone let you be killed because they really wanted to try and knife your attacker. Or maybe someone beached an AAMTRACK

Maybe it will be superbly coordinated attacks but I'd venture to guess that the majority of voice is going to be harshly educating people on what they probably should already know.

I'd rather just be able to turn off the chat window and VOIP and do my best with some friends on a private voice chat.

We all witnessed how much that commorose helped out.

Get to work. Oh, and thanks for listening.
