Is 28yo too late to start studies in physics?

I'm 28yo and I never went to college because of money and because I didn't know what I wanted to study anyway at the time so I thought it would be a waste. I realized that I'm very interested in physics and have been for a while and if I were to go to college it would be to study physics. Should I even bother at 28?
