Oversimplification on /r/libertarian
I suppose it's worth mentioning after the daily "scumbag leftist" or whatever meme posts that come up. I agree that there are problems with many popular arguments on r/politics, but its idiotic to summarize them as "I want government to fix my government". That's like saying "OMFG he is using a hammer on a nail. They both are from the hardware store, fucking tool-ists"
It's a gross oversimplification to say that government is a simple single entity. And that all interactions with it are "pro-government" or "pro-state".
I'm not saying all /r/libertarian does this but it sure has been coming up quite a bit lately.
