Help with a dog who is not eating.

I've got two Malamute mixes who are about to turn two (they are brother and sister) and the female has been eating very little lately.

There was never a problem with eating before, but I recently lost my house (and about everything else) and we are now staying with my in-laws. When we first got here, we went through several brands of dog food before finally settling on the sams club brand lamb and rice (exact name eludes me at the moment) which they had no problem eating before. But my female will hardly eat anything, she just kind of nibbles here and there. I've also noticed a huge increase in her poaching food from tables and counters, so the appetite is still there.

Any ideas on what I could do to get her eating properly again? Also, my mother-in-law has been wanting to try a raw diet for her dog, who has tons of allergy issues. If I do this for her dog, I may do it for mine also. Any advice on how to go about a raw diet, or where I could find some good info to get me started?
