Aussie tourist needs some stuff to do/friends between 29th - 5th :)

So r/nyc seems like a pretty suitable place to post this up: I'll be staying over thurrrr for a few days over NYE and I'll need some stuff to do. I'm 21, from Sydney, awesome, very hip-hop oriented & enjoy trees.

I've posted one of these threads before, but nobody really helped. I was looking for advice regarding where to pick up buds near where I'll be staying, but people thought I was a cop and told me to fuck off.

I guess.. I dunno, if you're looking to hang out with some random dude off the internet - message me. If not, post something rude and downvote. Any advice re: shit to do in NYC would be appreciated.. I'll be staying near 9th/west 23rd - so if you've got any bar/restaurant ideas around that area please hit me up!
