Laptop got infected, won't start.
I was browsing reddit and clicked on a link. All of a sudden, this Win 7 Antivirus 2012 thing came up. I knew it was suspicious and my friend told me to download fixNCR, rkill/iexplorer, and malwarebytes anti-malware, running them in that order.
Everything seemed fine after I ran fixNCR and rkill/iexplorer but after doing a full scan with mbam, there was 1 infection. I got rid of it and my laptop restarted by itself. Thankfully, I had no important documents open or needed to save. I don't know what to do now. When I press the power button, all I get is the Launch Startup Repair (recommended) and Start Windows Normally.
Start Windows Normally just makes it restart again. The Launch Startup Repair makes it go to a screen that says "Windows has failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:
- Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer. (Parents threw out the stuff that came with my laptop, including any discs)
- Choose your language settings, and then click "Next."
- Click "Repair your computer."

I'm confused, its 10:40PM right now and I need to get my homework finished. Typing all this up on my netbook was painful... THANKS, r/techsupport!
