Underwear - specifically trunks. Answer a silly question

I saw a bunch of great suggestions in the underwear thread - this comment has the most examples of what's confusing me. Where's the fly?

I love my exofficio boxer briefs, but I wanted to check out something that was less wallet-fucking and maybe a bit different. I picked up a pair of these based on another comment, because they're $12/2, but there's no practical way to take a piss quickly when wearing pants and a belt. So are these just not for wearing to the bar or do I just not know how to use my junk right?
