I am an anthropology student that wants to collect survey information regarding the My Little Pony community. Please take the time to complete this short, 10 question survey.

Hello, redditors of r/mylittlepony!

I am an undergraduate student at the College of Wooster and have decided to do an ethnographic project on the My Little Pony community and bronies. Given the fact that /r/ my little pony has so many subscribers I thought it would be fitting to post a short survey for a few days to collect general demographic data and information as to why bronies enjoy My Little Pony as much as they do and what their community values are. The survey data collected for this project is anonymous and will only be used for this single ethnographic project. It will never be used outside of the context of the classroom. Along with the data collected I will be turning in a paper based on my findings and will present a final presentation to the rest of my class. I decided on this topic because of the interest the show has produced. You hear about fans of TV shows like Lost and Dexter, but nowhere do you see such commitment to the show and creation of unofficial media than you do with My Little Pony. I am particularly interested in why there was such a boon in viewership of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic that was not originally part of the target audience. Also, I am interested in finding out about the cohesiveness and participation of the My Little Pony community, using /r/ my little pony as a sample. I will be interviewing bronies at my college in extended interviews but this survey is meant to collect more data on the My Little Pony community at large. Please, take your precious time to complete it for a fellow pony-fan! (it’s only ten questions)
