How do I become a psychopath... without all the negatives?
I'm a person who is the polar opposite of a psychopath. I experience deep empathy for others, to the extent that I shut down entirely because it is too much to bear. I am highly cognizant of how other people are feeling, yet that feeling, on top of my own internal feelings, tends to overload me. Instead of lacking feelings of remorse or guilt, I'm wracked with them. I frequently ruminate on events that the person in question has almost entirely forgotten, yet I remember it as a defining moment of guilt in my life.
So how do I desensitize myself and learn to become a psychopath without the hooker-killing?
