anyone smarter then me please help?

i bashed my elbow into the aluminum frame of a window 3 months ago. i hit that nerve hard enough that i had no feeling in the lower part of my arm for about 20 minutes. i needed more pain killers then was healthy for the next three or four days just to make it through work. now every little bump near that nerve sends unbearable pain through my whole arm. pain that lasts for about two hours. i know that it is way to late to go to the doctors about it. i'm just looking for some answers. did i fuck my shit up for good or is this something that will go away? what the fuck did i do to it?
