Moving to Orange County (for Disneyland) from Seattle next year- need advice

My husband and I are looking to work in or near Disneyland (yes, we understand the limited hours and availability of jobs there) sometime late next summer. We're having a difficult time finding apartments that fit our price range that aren't completely trashed or (what I presume is) a bad area. If you could list any specific apartment complexes within walking distance or short bus distance from the park, that'd be extremely helpful.

Also, if there's any tips on how to go about applying & interviewing while living in a different state, I'd appreciate it! I applied once about 3 years ago when I was 18, but I'm unsure if any policies have changed or not.
