Can I get this TV connected to these speakers?

I have this TV. I have these speakers.

The TV seems to only have digital (optical) audio in. And the speakers can only output through this typical computer speaker cord that goes into my laptop's headphone jack.

Is there any way to get these speakers to work with this TV?

If not, what route should I take short of purchasing some lavish speaker setup or receiver?

I don't want to spend much money on this. I don't need an amazing home theater--this TV is just sitting next to my computer desk for PS3 while I am on break.
