Anniversary gift for BF, quick!

It's my significant other's and mine 3 year anniversary coming up next week. We're both grad students and live together and theoretically I knew that gifts needed to be purchased soon because Christmas, his bday, and our anniversary are all within 6 weeks of each other, but I have not taken action yet on the anniversary gift, and I know he got me something really nice.

He likes computer games a lot and we just got a Wii, but I'd rather save game ideas for Christmas/bday and do something a little more romantic for anniversary. I know there is a tie he likes, or I could get something for the apartment (he likes cooking a lot) but I want a really cool, innovative idea. Help? (last year got him really cool photo collages where it takes all the little pictures of us and makes it into a collage of one big picture...that was really cool but i need something new). Also, he really loves rage comics, so that could be a direction to go?

TL;DR Need gift for bf ASAP!
