I can't do it. I'm sorry.

I have been on Reddit for almost five years. I have participated in two Secret Santas, including the very first. I signed up again this year because it was always so much fun.

In the past I was single and gainfully employed. Thankfully I'm still employed, but I'm now married and expecting a baby any day now.

I'm thrilled about all this, but it leaves me little money and far less time.

So, I have to throw in the towel on Secret Santa this year. I know, I know. I deserve the shame. I signed up and I'm going to let somebody down (as a two-time shaftee, I know how this feels).

The Reddit community has always been very generous, so rather than leave my santee gift-less, I will take my shame publicly and ask if anyone would be willing to take on an extra giftee. He's in New York and seems like a good kid. PM me if interested.
