Bachman on the LGBT community and Prayer in School

Regardless of your position on either issue, its seems to me like her arguments just do not make sense. On the LGBT issue you could justify many historical injustices with her reasoning (say the Jim Crow era ban on inter-racial marriage) since she employs circular logic to argue for status quo. And on the prayer issue you could also justify many historical injustices - like Jim Crowe - by saying the local majority dictates what ever laws they please.
