My employer has recently decided that I am to work 10 hour days from now on. If I'm against this, does the law give me any protections?

I imagine it probably doesn't. But then again, I know employers aren't allowed to fire you because of your sex or race. I can imagine that there might be some regulations in place about increasing hours.
