What is devils Lock really? i got it last night and its confusing

This is the 2nd time i got devils lock and im confused at what it really is. I remember that i was like oh i need ot wake up my dog, but i couldnt say or move, and my mind kept asking me weird questions and i kept answering them normally then i realized that these questions were very specific and weird, so i thought to myself, whose asking these questions, and i hear a scream in my head I AM and i hear loud knocking in ym head, like extreme pounding. the rest of the night involved violent noises/walking outside which i hope is in my mind.
