Car Stereo help Alpine Deck

I have an older Alpine IVA-D310 can see here: http://goo.gl/WMiAb. The original multimedia station burnt out and I need to find another solution. The guy at Frys is suggesting I spend $700 on purchasing a new deck and all. I came across an Alpine Mobile Media Solutions http://goo.gl/2R7L9 Will this work as a replacement of the original mobile media solutions box? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
