How to get a balanced game?

I last looked at OpenTTD maybe a year ago. I found it easy to download lots of fun trains, maps, industries and stuff - but they obviously didn't play well together. The prices wouldn't match, or all kinds of things just didn't make sense.

Have they made a way to download a whole, sensible "pack" that gives a meaningful, coherent, balanced game?
