I am a teenager looking at a future in the restaurant industry, what are some things I should know?

I'm currently 18 and have been working at a restaurant/bar and really enjoy myself. I love cooking, working with people as well as hosting events (I have hosted and organized a few local events). I'm planning on taking a beverage and food management course at a college in a nearby city. I'm hoping that in 10 years I can open a small-serving size high-class bar (To cut the cost for customers and to still serve good food and put the focus on showcasing parties/bar activities).

Anyways, I was wondering if Reddit can give me some advice on a few things. I'm wondering if this dream is worth it and if I can still have fun going through with it, any concerns I should have, what working in this industry for a long time is like and, well any general advice you can give me.
