If The Flash runs so fast, why is he not gas?

Correct me if I am incorrect, but doesn't kinetic energy increase with speed? Kinetic energy causes your atoms to spread out, and the further they are, you'd become liquid, then gas. And heat doesn't help either, because the speed would increase heat from his feet! Am I right?
