How To Tell When You're Too Addicted To Reddit..My List

Dear Reddit, This is my list. When was your "Aha!" pivotal moment when you realized you were extraordinarily addicted to Reddit?

  • You created the meme which another OP reposted and got all your damn karma points for.

  • At least one of your threads turned into several dozen bad puns or play on words.

  • When someone in public shouts "WHEN DOES THE NARWHAL BACON?!" You know the answer, but don't reply out of sheer principle.

  • You've written angry letters to monitors about excessive boring/repititive/irrelevant content.

  • Too many Skyrim/Minecraft jokes? Better start playing so you don't feel left out!

  • Every day objects, places, people, and events are evaluated according to "Reddit-Postworthiness"

  • Cardinal Rule #1: Cats always get upvotes.

  • You've held up bank lines, fast food drive-thrus, and cashiers trying to submit a joke.

  • Communication with your spouse/significant other is done primarily via rage comics.

  • Habitually consulting Reddit with college paper/speech topics and sometimes content.

  • You've submitted family photos to Reddit just to get a Redditer to photoshop for you. (and sometimes they're even nice enough to include light saber-weilding kittens and unicorns as a background).

  • "Why not Zoidberg?" is a perfectly acceptable response to almost anything.

  • Your boss knows he's a troll and has accepted his status.

  • Reddit has made you realize that you are not alone. There are millions of weirdos out there just like you and apparently, they all have the same sense of humor
