Toyota GT-86 is about to come out. To the people who are already disappointed, I ask: Why. What were you expecting?

The car has been announced, and some people have driven it already. It seems like a perfect car in an almost non existent market. The only other competitor is the Hyundai Genesis coupe. The Miata to a point, but its strictly 2 seater.

So what is it that you, the people who are disappointed, were expecting? Not powerful enough? There are PLENTY of 2+2 RWD coupes out there that will suffice your desires. But they cost more and are in completely different classes. Go buy a used C6 and be happy. Or an M3.

But this is supposed to be a mid $20's true sports car. This car is engineered for handling and cornering. Want more power then spend some money on a Mustang.

This car was designed around the driver and the steering and wheels.

Lowest center of gravity in its class, high revving 4 banger, RWD.

Also this car has legendary build quality. This is a friggin Toyota for crying out loud. Most reliable brand out there.

And to all you people crying that its going to be a Scion, wake up sheeple. Scion is a brandmade by toyota to sell cars to young people. IT IS A TOYOTA just with a different badge, and some options like 'sick-ass sound system and a plethora of wheel choices.

also going to have way too many color choices because its going to be a Scion.

On a side note, Do you guys think the Subaru version is going to have an AWD version?
