Mom yelling at me for Secret Santa Gift.

Even though I work for my own money, she says I'm an 'irresponsible person with money'. I explained to her what was going on, explained what reddit was and the event currently going on. First, it had to be shipped internationally and I wanted to give a good gift because its Christmas, and people deserve nice things. I spent about 50 bucks on the gift and then 16 shipping through the seller so I could save money. Good Karma came around as I got an awesome gift today, so it all works out.

Nonetheless, has anyone else had complaints about spending money on secret santa gifts?
