ELI5 Credit Cards, I'm considering getting one (college student)

Hi! I'm new to reddit and such.

I'm currently a junior in college and I was considering getting a credit card from somewhere (I bank with Wells Fargo) but I am concerned about hidden fees/screwing myself over/ect.

Before you ask, yes, I am able to trust myself and spend money responsibly.
