We've heard a lot from people who have been kids in the foster system, let's turn it around.

How many of you have BEEN foster parents at some point, and how did that turn out for both you and the kids? I know people do it for very different reasons, whether it's the compensation money they get for each child, or the truly altruistic parents who are doing their best, and others. What instances of foster parenting have you witnessed, whether good or bad?
