An AA based medal?
Obviously this shouldn’t be too high on the priority list but I would eventually like to see some sort of AA based medal. Any ideas for one?

I mean we have been asking for spotting damage ribbons and medals for two years so I wouldn't hold your breath.

They mentioned in a recent stream that they'll be adding some new ribbons soon. They didn't say specifically what, but it's a safe bet that they'll be spotting ribbons since they're the only ones we don't have from PC.

Yeah I’ve wanted those spotting ribbons too (I think they teased we will get them soon?) but as I said this shouldn’t be too high the priority list. Still surprised we are getting German CVs so soon...

Pc has a medal for like destroying 50% or the like of the enemy planes by yourself. Medal is clear sky

That is long gone like over 2 years ago, new medal is "AA Defense Expert" and is a set number of planes shot down (believe its 45 but not 100% sure)

A heroic medal might actually induce players to actually spec at least some ships for AA. Than simply make it a hard mode requirement for a future campaign. Don't make it easy, but certainly doable if configured right.

Would rather see a scouting medal of some kind, maybe then people playing destroyers might do there bloody job

Take a lesson from the German secondaries issue. Eight months of non stop protesting to get them to where they should have been on day of launch.

A no heroic medal ? 20 planes let's say
Yeah, non heroic. Like the secondary based one.
Or actually we could also have a heroic one where you take out 30% or 40% of the planes prepped and deployed by a CV with a minimum number of planes sent by the CV.
