To anyone this might happen to, though this requires a few minutes (I guess more if it's the first time) to setup, you can just leave your computer on while absent with a program that starts the game X times every Y hours (Once every 24 hours sounds obvious but be wary of a rogue internet cut at the wrong time; And it can do more than start the game, just record your mouse actions so it can go through menus and stuff if needed) to gain log-in rewards.
Not necessarily very eco-friendly (And you do need to pay the electricity) but sometimes not losing a streak is worth a lot, especially if it's only because of one or two days of absence. It's also why I don't necessarily understand people who say you need no life to have huge log-in streaks in games.
