It actually does help a lot. Sometimes grouping up and helping people to stand up is better than doing something practical. Knowing the issues and bringing people onboard is undoubtedly the first step for change. People can't follow or protest or do mass actions against the governments if they don't know what's going on.

I don't mean to offend. I admit that I am generalising here and assuming some stuff, but if the sickle and hammer icon is not ironic, then you must be a (rather dedicated) supporter of the communist/socialist ideology. I'm cool with that, I take my bits of wisdom from all ideologies and perspectives, communism isn't an exception.
But my first comment was a critical joke about how we tend to apply the confirmation bias when analysing sources of information, and you show to be very dedicated to communism to use that image as your icon, so I would expect you to be able to disprove all of the good quality sources one provided you. Everyone will ofc apply the confirmation bias, me included. It's just that I feel like the left wing and Marxist ideologists have closed themselves out of reality by refusing to engage in debate with the rest of the RICH political and ideological ways of seeing the world and organising society.
