The 100k+ fee on every single piece of gear that you have to pay if you don't want to be getting 1-shot with 300 defense isn't fun.

I love to experiment with new builds but it costs over 100k just to craft most higher tier weapons from scratch, requires a lot of farming to get all of the materials and decos, and even after all of that you're often stuck paying 70k-150k+ per armor piece just raising the armor level up high enough to avoid getting insta-killed.

I know the Lava Caverns farm route but 500k zenny to fully upgrade 5 pieces of equipment means you have to spend about 30 minutes across two runs just traveling in circles hitting rocks every time you build a set with 5 new pieces.

It doesn't add anything to the game. There is nothing compelling or engaging or creative about it. It's unfun.
