Hello my lovelies, I wrote a script a bit ago called No One Follows You Like Me depicting an obsessive fan within the GWA community. It was pretty popular and got a lot of fills, which I am very appreciative of. I love all fills of my scripts; nothing makes me happier than getting a notification that someone has filled a script of mine. But with that script in particular, I worry that the intended meaning was lost on some. Which is partly my fault as I could've made it more clear. So this is what this script is: being more clear. Parasocial relationships are a very serious topic for both all parties involved. Shannon Strucci has a really great video examining the complexities which I can't link due to GWA's rules. But I would encourage y'all to give it a watch if you have the time. The TL;DR is We are all strangers on the internet. I urge performers to keep this in mind as they continue to navigate this space, and listeners to remember when interacting with members of the GWA community. And odds are, this might not apply to you. But it's a good reminder, I think.
