Beautiful work. What kind of ink or paint are you using to draw those patterns? Do you draw/paint on the inside or the outside? Or does it matter?
I have some mica sheets that I bought to replace broken glass panels on an oil lamp a year ago. Maybe you've inspired me to start doing something with it.

That's some impressive lämp brother. You'd be a hit over at r/mothmemes!
This is one of the best posts I’ve seen on this sub. I love them!
Wow! I'm so in love with that peacock one! (the others too haha) Amazing work!
Amazing. Do you sell these?

Thank you! I buy it in sheets of amber or silver, and it comes in different thickness. I cut out the panels, and I'll either create a design and put in between to pieces of mica or cut designs/shapes out of the mica and overlay it. It also bends pretty easily when you heat it up. I then frame each panel in copper and solder them together.

Basically what the do to make it into sheets is they break the rock into flakes, lay it out, and then pour amber or clear shellac over it.
I'm sure there's probably more to it, but that's the general idea
