PSU question
I snagged a 3070 recently but have a 400 watt gold rated psu. My other parts include a r5 3600x, 16 gigs of 3200 ram. Can I use my current psu, or would I have to upgrade?

I'd reccomend an upgrade for sure. Definitely dont try overclocking anything with that psu.
I think the recommended minimum for 30 series cards is around 650w
Definetly upgrade, ive got a r5 3600 and a rx 5600xt... kept crashing with my 500w, so I went to 700w and have no issues
gpu tdp: 220
cpu tdp: 95
with those two alone you're running it close to reaching it's max wattage and it not functioning. I would reccommend you buy a 500 watt psu or more. the higher the better but if you know that you won't be upgrading soon, then a 500 W should work for now.
NVIDIA recommends a 600-650W for the 3070 so an upgrade would definitely help. Looks for sales though cause you can probably find one for a reasonable price
Yea upgrade the recommended specs are 650 psu
You should definetly upgrade
Yes, that is not enough. I've been happily using my 3070 with a be Quiet Pure Power 11 600W.
You'll have to upgrade. That's not enough.
