Sonos CEO expects to capitalize on the ‘golden age of audio’

Capitalizing on the golden age of forced upgrades.

If things don’t grow as quickly as they want they will just send out another EOL announcement and force people to buy new equipment...

I’m only half joking...

I recently purchased an old school stereo receiver and a pair of bookshelf speakers. This setup will continue to function until the end of time. Luckily for music lovers, the true golden age of audio happened decades ago.

I expect they will too. I bought an Arc + Sub surround setup for our TV room a few months ago. I’ll be buying speakers for our living room and dining room tomorrow and I’d buy them for the bedroom and bathroom too if I could persuade my girlfriend.
