I like nice things. I'm a nice, kind, considerate, easy-going, fun, loving person.

I like good music, silly things like operas and rachmaninov and great art, and places like Venice and Alessio and Florence. I used to be into hard rock and metal but I like more civilized stuff these days. It's called "diversity" and appreciation for great art. And, I'm apparently "old", whatever the fuck that means.

I love Vermeer but can spend a week in the Fondation Maeght as if in a dream.

I love good food, good wine, great booze; I'm dressed rn in grungy sweats and need to walk the dog. I'm a great cook and an excellent housekeeper. I like wearing linen in the summer and keep my hair looking nice, but I don't dye it. I do my own mani-pedis. I can discuss global economics, international politics and trade, I'm well versed in oil and minerals (thanks George) and one of my best friends in Monaco has been running Forex since 2006 in his own agency. I am educating myself on crypto. I'm still not sure how I feel about that.

I learned how design and built my own websites for a specific property niche in the EU with some 20k followers across several FB groups.

But I have a few nice handbags and some very nice jewelry. I live between the French Riviera and Paris (until COVID). I moved here in 2005 when fucking Bush stole the election again.

I haven't worn my nice heels in nearly two years and I miss my nice cashmere that's been mothballed since forever it seems.

In my youth in between gigs at the stock brokerage, I worked at the big studios in Hollywood and was an in-demand stagehand on the biggest shows of the 80's and 90's; one of maybe a dozen chick stagehands in the business. I worked in local, state and federal governments as well, for some 15 years.

So yeah, I'm not very happy sitting around with guys discussing which lawn chairs from Costco are my favourites.
