Where to buy movies/tv shows 4K blu ray discs?

I hear streaming is bad...watching a movie/tv series without streaming has a solid image/picture.

I want to experience that and compare, but couldn’t find any in Kuwait...I feel lost in my own country.

Can anybody please suggest/guide me to a good store that sells blu ray discs?

Thanks in advance, oh friendly reminder that the ps5 cd edition comes with a 4k blu ray player...So there’s no need to get a blu ray player...

zero chance to find legit 4k bluerays movies on sites in kuwait . I remembered the good old days of dialup and buying Riped CDS from the guy in front of the co-op. you should torrent movies and get yourself an external harddisk

You mean download movies/tv shows? That’s an excellent idea...however, I’m not into piracy.

Your best bet is to order from outside of kuwait.

I’m not familiar with ordering outside...but if that is the only option, so be it.

Ok first thing first you need to learn about region locks believe it or not they are still a thing.

If you bought your PS5 here, it’s region 2. You can buy region 2 movies from Amazon UK, or Region free from Amazon US. They will both deliver either to your forwarding box (MyUS, Ship and shop, etc) or directly to your home address. Availability will vary depending on the shipping method (international to your home address, or US/UK box). I have ordered some movies before with no problems with customs, but maybe other reddditors can chime in with movies that might have unacceptable scenes or a shipment with a large quantity.

Amazon US. I buy there always. And 4k blu rays are really cheap there.

On another note, keep in mind that some 4k blu rays are mastered in Dolby Vision. Neither the PS5 nor the Xbox XS has dolby vision decoding. So they will revert back to HDR10.

If you have a Dolby Vision capable TV and want to experience that you have to get a 4k blu ray player which has DV. I bought one from amazon UK and it is the best.
