I can forgive Six Fronts, I can forgive Twilight Gap. But there's one thing I can never forgive the Fallen for.
Exploder Shanks.

Exploder Shanks.

but just think, if we get them on our side, then we can unleash the exploder shanks on savathun!
Witch Queen opens with a Taken King style cutscene of Eliksni/Hive armies clashing, but instead of ships it’s just waves upon waves of exploder shanks and cursed thrall.
Destiny: Michael Bay edition
Exploder Heavy Tracer Shanks.
Overload
Next subclass: Just exploder shanks
The grenade is a deployable ES, the melee causes explosions, the super turns you into a large exploder shank
But you can only use it once, since you die after using it.
"The Mad Bomber somehow survived your massacre during Forsaken, and has been secretly stealing from The Tangled Shore's Fallen. Take the bomber down, and with the help of Spider, use his stolen weapons to bring peace and order to the shore. We're counting on you Guardian."
Fikrul can rez him, and himself, whenever he feels like it.
I knew that Fikrul could resurrect himself, but are you sure he could/can resurrect the other Barons? If so, why didn't he?
Every time I see an Overload Captain I feel a strong urge to commit some casual genocide. Exploder Shanks pales in comparison
Nah man, barrier servitors are the worst. Going immune and healing to full within seconds of shielding all while making everything near them immune? Shit sucks.
Nah you can kill them before they even put their Shields up. But Overload Captains? They're what I imagine it would be like to fight another guardian
You don't have to imagine. We have the crucible.
nothin personnel kid
Just think, raid boss exploder shank.
A “survive boss fight” where you have to stay alive for a designated amount of time while the boss follows you and the room changes around you
isn't this just the flaming servitor from the scourge of the past? sounds like another excuse for a sparrow race sectioooooooooon!!!
Yep, it’s not a fact that you need to kill it, you can. It’s the fact that it’ll take everything with it
Yep, you actually can’t kill it to complete the mission, as that will just nuke the entire mission
Maybe you’d have to keep it at bay while other team mates diffuse it somehow,
They don't make sense, as they worship machines.
Had the exact same thought. Eido even talks about how much they care for all machines, even shanks. So why rig explosives on it and throw it at guardians?
The only logic I can see working is that exploder shanks are damaged and beyond repair/not cost effective to repair so why not use them as a bomb
That would neatly explain why their flight is so twitchy and erratic.
Except Eido talks about how she repairs some shank so many times because they love machines.
"damaged and beyond repair"
Indeed! That's why it was such a sacrilege to destroy servitors and corrupt the ether by the zombie eliksni, maybe there is some small hidden, lost piece of lore that explains this inconsistency.
That shank at the camp that they have to keep rebuilding is going to end up having like a "Coulson in the Avengers" role or something, I know it!
Speak for yourself my man, I for one am always pleased to see floaty-warmind-cell-dispenser-bois.
At a distance, that is.
Exploder shanks are unfortunately, kamikaze fighters.
Colony ornament, but instead of spiders, it shoots explosive shanks.
Eido: “shanks and all machines are like family.”
Fallen:
Exploder shank I barely know her!
They didn't ask if you knew her or not, they gave you an order!
Good soldiers follow orders
Better soldiers know the best brothels for shanking.
You want to know why they put me in charge? It's because I'm willing to do what needs to be done.
